Investing in the Future of Radio

Just over two years ago we launched Radio.co with the aim of making it as easy as possible for broadcasters to start an online radio station and manage it entirely from the cloud. Since then we’ve helped thousands of stations, from over 200 hundred countries, broadcast to millions of listener’s all around the world.

If you’re one of the 3500+ customers who has joined us on this journey over the last two and a half years then you will know that we spend a lot of time and energy building new features to help you manage and grow your station.

Today we’re excited to announce that we have raised £300,000 from the NPIF (Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund) and FW Capital to help continue our growth and take Radio.co to the next level.

Innovation is incredibly important to us here at Radio.co and we’ll be using this funding to research and develop new product features to make your broadcasting experience as great as it can be. Whether it’s our in-browser voice tracking feature or our new live broadcasting software, our product and development teams are constantly looking for new ways to help us, and you, stay ahead of the crowd.

In addition to this, we’ll be using the funding to grow our development team here in the UK and our rapidly growing Sales team in the USA.

Finally, I’d like to sign off by personally saying thank you for being part of Radio.co and to keep your eyes peeled because we have a lot of exciting announcements we will be making over the next few months.

P.S. If you’re a Front End or Back End Developer and you’re looking for an exciting opportunity in 2018 then check out our open positions. If you think you’d be a good match and want to work on the future of radio, send your CV and a link to your Github profile to studio@radio.co
