To promote the UN Global Goals, Project Everyone launched “Radio Everyone” — a seven-day, multi-language global broadcast campaign. Powered by Radio.co, the pop-up station delivered content in 10 languages to audiences in 117 countries, reaching over 253 million listeners worldwide.
Project Everyone, founded by Sir Richard Curtis, set out to promote the 17 Global Goals for sustainable development to as many people as possible.
The campaign required:
For freelance producer John Cranmer, the logistical complexity was immense. Managing multiple simultaneous streams with precise scheduling across languages and regions required a sophisticated yet intuitive broadcasting system.
Radio Everyone was powered by Radio.co’s cloud-based platform, enabling the team to manage 10 parallel language streams from anywhere in the world.
The platform provided:
Despite the project’s scale, the interface remained simple enough for producers with limited streaming experience to manage confidently.
The result: operational complexity handled behind the scenes, allowing the team to focus on content and campaign messaging.
The campaign exceeded expectations.
Key outcomes:
Radio Everyone demonstrated that even highly complex, multi-region broadcast campaigns can be executed with precision using cloud-based radio infrastructure.
It proved online radio’s ability to deliver coordinated messaging at global scale.
